Find Yourself Rejuvenating Kheerganga
KASOL -CHALAAL- KALGA – KHEERGANGA-TOSH- MANIKARAN
PARVATI River paases through scenic untouched hills, and great climate. It is a base for many known treks in the area, to Sar Pass, Yanker Pass, ManTalai, Pin Parbati Pass and KheerGanga
So on this trip we start from Delhi reach kasol.We will embark on a leisure trek from Kasol to challal which will take 1 to 2 hrs passing through dense forest. Challal is sleepy village with few Cafes. we will also trail through thick pine forests to Kheerganga, a meadow at 2960m where Shiva is said to have meditated for 3000 years. The hot springs at Khirganga are extremely important for Hindu and Sikh pilgrims as well as many others who believe the waters have sacred healing properties.
Day 1: Delhi – Kasol ( Change of Bus at Bhuntar, Distance: 560 km, Travel Time: 12-14 hrs, Elevation: 2,050m/6,726ft)
Departure from New Delhi, Meetup at Majnu ka Tilla Bus stop near Old Delhi at 19:00 hrs. Board a sleeper Volvo to Bhuntar in the evening Overnight bus journey to Bhuntar.
Day 2: In Kasol
Arrival at Kasol mid morning. Transfer to guest house and relax after the journey. In the afternoon we head to a small Hot water Spring near Kasol where we dip in to the spring. Back to our guest around sunset and the rest of the evening at leisure
Day 3: Visit Chalaal
Early morning we visit chalal to enjoy the laid back cafes and view a different side of village life.Brunch at Cafe in Chalaal. Return to Kasol before evening. Head to our next village. Overnight Stay at Kalga.
Day 4: Kalga – KheerGanga (Distance: 14km hike; Travel Time: 6-7 hrs; Elevation: KheerGanga – 2,960m / 13,051ft)
After Breakfast we start the hike in the forest. We cross the village of Nakthan and the temple of Rudra Nag, both ideal places to take short breaks on the way to KheerGanga which is where we spend the night in very basic tented accomodation.It’s an uphill trek amongst pine trees, waterfalls and cliffs with snow covered mountains in the background. Brace yourself as this is heaven and literally we would be sleeping under the blanket of 5 Billion stars.
Day 5: KheerGanga- Tosh
Spend the morning exploring the pristine forests of the Parvati Valley around KheerGanga, including a dip in the Hot Water Springs known for its medicinal properties. Around KheerGanga are forest trails leading up to the famous MaanTalai and Pin Parvati treks and a famous meditation cave. The experience of laying in natural steaming hot water and taking in the view of the surrounding snow peaks in itself is an unforgettable experience! Depart from KheerGanga around noon time to reach Barshaini before sunset.We walk by road from Barshaini Tosh. Overnight at Tosh
Day6 : Tosh
Tosh, a beautiful scenic village rest of the day at leisure to either explore the village and interact with the friendly people or just sit back and enjoy the gorgeous view and sunset. From here we drive back to Kasol with the option to stop at Manikaran to visit the Gurudwara and Hot Springs along the way.
Day7 Kasol Departure
Wakeup with the chirping of birds and the morning glory of sunrays. Have a mini breakfast. Departure post lunch to catch the evening coach from Bhuntar. Overnight bus journey back to Delhi.

Don’t carry heavy backpacks for trek to Kheerganga.
a torch, a pair of flip flops, a swimsuit, small money, toilet paper and a very thin towel. Kheerganga is cold even in summers so carry something warm in your backpack.
